Poland produced 46.96 million tonnes of coal, including hard coal and lignite, in the first seven months of 2026, up 1.1% year on year, according to data from the Central Statistical Office of Poland. Hard coal output reached 24.62 million tonnes, up 2.2% YoY, while lignite production totaled 22.34 million tonnes, roughly flat from a year earlier.
