Shanghai International Energy Exchange data showed crude futures for September 2026 delivery settled at 584.10 yuan/barrel on Aug 25, down 9.50 yuan, or 1.60%. Total trading volume across all contracts reached 207,073 lots, while open interest rose 1,401 lots to 75,451 lots. The front-month contract saw volume of 165,640 lots, with open interest down 474 lots to 41,705 lots.
