Pakistan's PD targets coal discount gaps

Pakistan's Power Division has found major differences in coal discounts among power plants, costing consumers up to Rs 380 mln ($1.37 mln) annually, local media reported on Aug 25. New rules require plants to use the best available discount, aiming to cut tariffs without extra investment.
