Hebei province's emergency management department has confirmed the closure of nine coal mines, including Cuijiazhai mine, Cuijiazhai North No.3 shaft, Nanliuzhuang North shaft, Qisheng mine, Shuidong No.5 shaft, Chengshangrong mine, Kunyue East shaft, Kunyue West shaft and Shuangsheng No.2 shaft, according to an official announcement. The closures were verified as complete following inspections.
