Coal India Ltd (CIL) is inviting bids for building a 20-MW (AC) floating solar power plant at Chilwa Taal in the Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh, local media reported. The contract period ranges for 72 mths, including 12 mths for plant construction testing and commissioning, and 60 mths for operation and maintenance (O&M). The bidding is expected to end on Jan 14.
