On Mar 31, one major miner in Qipanjing of Inner Mongolia started an online auction of low-S fat coal (S 0.8%, A 12%) at 980 yuan/t and closed the deal at 1,050 yuan/t, up 30 yuan/t from the previous settlement on Mar 24. The miner also concluded an auction of high-A fat coal (S 0.8%, A 15%) at 930 yuan/t, up 50 yuan/t compared to the previous trade, with the same starting price of 840 yuan/t. High-S fat coal (S 2.5%, A 12%) auction settled 20 yuan/t lower at 890 yuan/t after the miner started it at 850 yuan/t.
