China's 10 largest coal mining groups (in terms of production) produced 387.75 million tonnes of raw coal in January-February 2025, rising 7.10% year on year and representing 50.6% of China's total coal output, according to the latest data released by China National Coal Association.

China's raw coal output reached 765.33 million tonnes in the first two months this year, a 7.7% rise year on year, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

Meanwhile, Chinese customs data showed the country's coal imports rose 2.2% from the year prior to 76.12 million tonnes over January-February.
