China imported 34.74 Mt of thermal coal in Jun 2024, rising 8.13% YoY and 1.76% MoM, with the figure notching a historic high for the same month, customs data showed. The imports were valued at $2.85 billion, declining 12.09% YoY but up 2.34% from May.
