Overview
You are invited to join the 14th Coal Market Summit, organized by Sxcoal and Shanxi Culture & Tourism International Trade Co., Ltd., which will take place in Taiyuan city, northern China's Shanxi province from December 19-22, 2023.
The year 2023 presents both challenges and opportunities for the coal industry. While the global economy continues to face pressures and challenges, China's economy has been recovering, with improving consumption injecting momentum to the recovery and transformation of the global economy.
This year, China has focused on enhancing the quality of its domestic coal supply system, improving supply security, expanding mid- and long-term coal contracts, strengthening contract enforcement, and enhancing coal transportation capacity. Additionally, China's coal imports have increased, playing a positive role in adjusting and supplementing the domestic market. Overall, market expectations are stable, with a rough balance between coal supply and demand.
Looking ahead to 2024, how will domestic and international coal markets evolve? How should coal, coke and steel industry chain enterprises, import and export trading companies, and financial institutions adjust their strategies in the new market environment?
