Indonesia's Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has approved 95% of the 2026 coal RKAB submissions for mining companies, according to Director General of Mineral and Coal Tri Winarno on Sep 29. Tri stated that the estimated total production in 2026 will remain at around 720 Mt, or averagely around 60 Mt per mth.
