China's State Power Investment Corp (SPIC) unveiled a fully self-developed full-scope simulator and related proprietary technologies at a launch event held at its Central Research Institute on September 28. The simulator, tested by the first batch of operators for the "Guohe One" reactor over 23 months through 272 tests, completed 720 hours and 126 operator training scenarios, and passed an acceptance review organized by the owner on September 18. The review panel included members of the Nuclear Power Plant Operator Qualification Committee, marking that SPIC has mastered complete independent research, development and supply capabilities for full-scope simulators.
