Pakistan's electricity generation rose 5.1% YoY to 14.94 TWh in August 2026, the third-highest August level on record, according to Arif Habib Limited Research. The figure was 1.2% lower than Jul's 15.12 TWh. Average unadjusted fuel cost climbed 38% YoY to PKR 10.01/KWh ($0.04/KWh).
