Green power trading on the State Grid Inner Mongolia East Grid has exceeded 8.6 TWh so far this year, up 77.47% from full-year 2024 and ahead of the 8.5 TWh annual target.

The company has coordinated green power trading within the grid and cross-region green power deliveries. In-grid green power trading reached 5.65 TWh, while cross-region outbound deliveries totaled 2.98 TWh, with both local consumption and external transmission volumes rising sharply.

Inner Mongolia, rich in wind and solar resources, serves as a key national green energy base. Leveraging ultra-high-voltage transmission corridors and the national unified power market, State Grid Inner Mongolia East Power has been expanding new energy outbound transmission capacity. The company has improved cross-region green power trading mechanisms, strengthened UHV corridor operations and deepened energy cooperation with provinces in northern and eastern China, supporting carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals.

State Grid Inner Mongolia East Power will continue expanding green power trading volumes, tapping local consumption potential and broadening outbound delivery channels to support the energy transition.
