Inner Mongolia Power Exchange has completed its 2026 verification of electricity retail companies, covering all 117 registered sellers in the market.
The two-month inspection included on-site checks at 89 companies, focusing on assets, staffing, business premises and technical support systems across both western and eastern Inner Mongolia.
The verification process integrated credit evaluation results from 2025, shifting from blanket inspections toward classified management and targeted checks. Annual information disclosure filings were also cross-referenced with registration conditions to strengthen full-process oversight.
The exchange will compile a special report based on the findings and work with market regulators to ensure corrective actions are implemented, establishing a closed-loop system of verification, rectification and enforcement to support the long-term standardized operation of Inner Mongolia's multilateral power trading market.
