China's thermal coal (non-coking coal) imports reached 29.11 million tonnes in July 2026, up 12.03% year on year but down 4.85% month on month, according to latest data from the General Administration of Customs. The import value stood at $2.52 billion, surging 61.09% YoY and rising 1.82% MoM.
