Indian Railways handled 141.3 million tonnes of goods in July 2026, up 9% YoY, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Railways, driven by robust coal and iron ore loading. Coal shipments rose by 11.5% YoY, while iron ore increased by 22.2% YoY, the ministry said.
