China's national carbon emission allowance (CEA) market closed at 99.69 yuan/t on Aug 3, up 1.12% from the previous trading day, according to data from the Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange. The market opened at 99.50 yuan/t, with a high of 100.00 yuan/t and a low of 99.30 yuan/t during the session. Total CEA volume reached 1,270,001 tonnes, with a turnover of 119.89 million yuan ($17.66 million), comprising 270,001 tonnes of listed contracts worth 26.92 million yuan and 1,000,000 tonnes of bulk contracts worth 92.97 million yuan. No one-way bidding transactions were conducted on the day.
