Xizang Quzika hydropower station held a groundbreaking ceremony on July 30 on the banks of the Lancang River, entering the full construction phase. The project has a total investment of 5.895 billion yuan and an installed capacity of 405 MW. The total construction period is 54 months, with average annual power generation reaching 1.869 billion kWh. The reservoir hub project consists of water-retaining, flood-discharge and water-intake power generation structures, with a maximum dam height of 79.5 meters and a total length of 411 meters, featuring daily regulation capability.
