Shanghai International Energy Exchange data showed crude futures for September 2026 delivery closed at 542.10 yuan/barrel on Jul 27, down 50.70 yuan or 8.55%. Total turnover for all contracts reached 272,543 lots, with open interest falling 5,193 lots to 81,027 lots, while the front-month contract saw turnover of 205,192 lots and open interest down 5,265 lots to 44,681 lots.
