China had 5,535 listed companies on its domestic stock markets as of June 30, 2026, with 2,314 on the Shanghai bourse, 2,898 on the Shenzhen exchange and 323 on the Beijing bourse, data from the China Association for Public Companies showed on July 27. Of these, 5,263 issued only A-shares, 265 had multiple share types including A+H and A+B, and seven issued only B-shares. Total market capitalization stood at 119.1 trillion yuan based on closing prices, up 10.5 trillion yuan from the end of the prior quarter.
