Russia's Gazprom stated that it set a new daily record for gas supplies to China via the Power of Siberia pipeline on July 25, its third all-time high in 2026. The volume was not disclosed. The route reached its annual design capacity of 38 billion cubic meters in 2024 and has periodically exceeded that level during winter peaks. Gazprom plans to export more than 40 bcm this year and has an agreement in principle to raise capacity to 44 bcm.
