China's Yangtze River ports handle 1.97 Bt cargo in H1; container throughput up 3.9% YoY

Data from the Changjiang Waterway Administration under China's Ministry of Transport showed that in the first half of this year, cargo throughput at ports along the Yangtze River trunk line reached 1.97 billion tonnes, with container throughput hitting 14.22 million TEUs, up 3.9% year on year. Key material transport remained well-supported, keeping the golden waterway's operations stable and orderly.
