Poland produced 40.67 million tonnes of coal, including hard coal and lignite, in the first half of 2026, up 2.7% from the same period a year earlier, according to monthly data from the Central Statistical Office of Poland. Hard coal output reached 21.19 million tonnes, up 3.3% year on year, while lignite production totaled 19.49 million tonnes, up 2.1%.
