India's 12 major state-run ports imported 16.476 million tonnes of coal in June 2026, down 0.68% year on year and 11.84% month on month, according to the latest data from the Indian Ports Association. Thermal coal imports stood at 11.369 million tonnes, while coking coal imports totaled 5.107 million tonnes.
