The Indonesian National Police is investigating alleged corruption in coal procurement for state utility PLN's power plants. Investigators targeted two companies, namely PT OBB and PT BRA, with an estimated state loss of Rp. 5 trillion,  but industry experts say the focus on two small firms may miss bigger players believed to have caused a massive blackout in Java's electricity system.
