Thermal coal prices in Ordos remained stable with slight adjustments. Recently, some end-users started stockpiling, and increased purchasing prices for third-party coal from top coal miners led to improved demand for certain coal grades. Prices of certain grades rose marginally. However, traders remained cautious, and prices for raw coal at some mines were still under pressure. The increasing number of mines shutting down for end-of-year maintenance and inspections tightened supply, providing some support for prices.
