India achieved a record renewable energy capacity addition of 44.51 GW in 2025 (up to November), nearly doubling the 24.72 GW added in the same period the previous year. This growth pushed the total installed renewable energy capacity to 253.96 GW by November 2025, marking a 23% increase from 205.52 GW in November 2024.
