Thermal coal prices in Ordos showed a modest upward trend. A local coal mine offered washed slack coal (CV5200, S0.4) at 440 yuan/t, mine-mouth with VAT, up 10 yuan/t. Recently, several coal mines halted production after meeting annual targets, and a few customers and traders prepared stock for the end of the year. The increase in coal trucks at operating mines pushed prices up by 5-10 yuan/t. However, traders remained cautious, with limited demand as the market outlook remains uncertain.
