Thermal coal prices weakened in Shanxi's Shuozhou. Local slack coal (CV 4,800, S 1.3%) was offered at 410 yuan/t, mine-mouth with VAT, experiencing steep declines recently. Coal sales improved post-slides compared to early Dec, reducing mine inventories. Despite year-end supply constraints, overall weak demand may further weigh on the market.
