India's government imposed a 5-yr anti-dumping duty on imports of Cold Rolled Non-Oriented Electrical Steel (CRNO) from China on Dec 18. Under this, the imports will invite a tariff of $223.82/t, said the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR). Cold Rolled Full Hard Silicon Electrical Steel (CRFH), used for making CRNO, is excluded from the duty. The duty was imposed as DGTR concluded the domestic industry has suffered material injury due to dumped import.
