N China's Inner Mongolia's installed power capacity totals 240 GW, with thermal power amounting to 117 GW. Backed by the recent addition of a 1 GW PV project to the grid, its installed renewable capacities have reached over 120 GW, surpassing thermal power capacity for the first time, Xinhua News Agency reported.
