On Dec 21, one Linfen-based miner in Shanxi started an auction for 18-Kt fat raw coal (S 4%, V 27-32%, GRI 95) at 550 yuan/t. The deal finally traded at 551 yuan/t for 15 Kt, compared to a complete failure after starting from 590 yuan/t on Dec 20.
