Thermal coal prices in Ordos, Inner Mongolia frequently declined. After top coal mining group cut purchasing prices for third-party coal again on Dec 17, a large number of local mines followed suite and cut prices by 10-20 yuan/t. Only several mines reported better sales after price drops. Some traders have already started vacation, and prices are hard to stabilize in the near term.
