Shanxi Huayang Group's No.2 intelligent coal mine has achieved a Level-II rating in terms of intelligence degree, assessed at 75%-85% degree by relevant authorities in the province, the company said lately.

Besides, eight mining intelligent working faces of the company were assessed as Level-II and 10 were rated as level-III with intelligence degree at 60%-75%.

Huayang Group has built three intelligent coal mines, 97 intelligent working faces and one intelligent coal washing plant so far, data showed.

The No.1 coal mine of Huayang Group was among the first batch of intelligent demonstration coal mines in China. Its supportive washing plant was also recognized as the first national-level intelligent coal one within the province.

The company has built a total of four intelligent advanced mining faces up to now, all using full-section TBM excavation technology, at the forefront in Shanxi.
