Shanxi Coking Coal Energy Group Co., Ltd. has delivered a daily average of 122,000 tonnes of coal entering November to ensure a stable energy supply during the peak winter period, media reported.

It is learned that Shanxi Coking Coal has undertaken a total of 56.17 million tonnes of power coal supply tasks this year, an increase of 5 million tonnes compared to last year.

The group has included all of its thermal coal resources in the power coal supply, making every effort to ramp up production and guarantee supply. As of the end of October, the group has reached a fulfillment rate of 91.7% in power coal supply.

Recent cold wave led to low temperatures, rainfall and snowfall in many parts of China, fueling the demand for coal and electricity. Shanxi Coking Coal, as the main force in energy supply security in Shanxi, has established a specialized team to ensure energy supply through production safety, resource organization, allocation and transportation, and electricity supply.
