China's thermal power, mainly generated from coal burning, reached 465.41 TWh in Oct, up 4% YoY but down 6.4% MoM, the latest data from NBS showed. Oct saw 20 provinces and regions reach YoY increases in thermal power generation, accounting for 65% of the total reporting regions, while eight realized MoM increases.
